MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />May 22, 1986 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met in special session, Thursday, <br />May 22, 1986, 4:00 P. M. Mayor Burnett called the meeting to order <br />with the following Councilmen present: Mike Folmar, Travis Wortham, <br />and Bill Bone. Also present was City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City <br />Clerk, Mattie Cunningham. <br />r <br />r`. Mayor Burnett announced that the purpose of the special meeting was <br />consideration and action on the 34th N. E. Street Drainage Project. <br />City Attorney Haynes advised that negotiations had been had with Mr. <br />Paul Landers regarding the proposed drainage pipe on Mr. Lander's <br />property and at this time there had been no decision made. <br />John Buss, Director of Engineering appeared before the Council and told <br />the Council that Mr. Lander's first preference to the drainage was to <br />go down Center Street and not get on his property at all. Mr. Buss <br />presented four options for consideration and they are as follows: <br />A. Center Street <br />B. 3 pipes & Streets <br />C. City Design (o.ne pipe) <br />D. City Design Plus 3 18' Pipes (Modified) <br />Mr. Paul Landers appeared before the Council and discussed the proposed <br />options. <br />After considerable discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Folmar <br />to accept either option B or C and instructed the City Engineer to meet <br />with Mr. Landers and his Engineer in order to reach an agreement on one <br />of the options, and design. The motion was seconded by Councilman Bone <br />and carried 4 ayes, 0 nays. <br />There being no further business, the mee ing adjourned. <br />- -- -- - -- - - -- - -- - - - - -- <br />BILLY RNETT, MAYOR <br />ATTEST: <br />MATTIE CUNNINGHAM, �CITT-Y-CL <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />June 5, !986 <br />The City Council of the City. of Paris met in regular session, <br />Thursday, <br />June 5, 1986, 5:15 P. M. Ci.ty Hall. Mayor Billy Joe Burnett called the <br />meeting to order with the following Councilmen present: Bill Bone, <br />Addle Bufford, W. C. Francis, Mike Folmar, Jeff Hoog, and Travis <br />Wortham. Also present were City Manager, David H. Doty, City Attorney, <br />T. K. Haynes, and Acting City Clerk, Joe N. McCollum. <br />Resolution No. 86 -045 appointing Joe McCollum as an Assistant City <br />Clerk was presented by City Attorney Haynes. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Hoog, seconded by Councilman Bone for adoption of the <br />Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />0161 <br />
