4 <br />First Responder Medical <br />Cayel Craft: <br />Bid A: Stainless Steel $4S,900.00 <br />Bid B: Galvanized Steel $42,412.00 <br />A motion was made by Councilman Burnett to accept the bid of Cayel <br />Craft in the amount of $42,412.00. The motion died for lack of a <br />second. <br />Steve Burgin, Fire Chief appeared before the Council and discussed the <br />ambulance equipment that has been budgeted, and suggested eliminating ! <br />the purchase of one blood pressure monitor and 4 strobe warning lights <br />for a total reduction of $3,367.00 which will leave an override of <br />$1,748.00 of the budgeted amount. <br />After further discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Burnett, <br />seconded by.Councilman Williams to accept the recommendations of Mr. <br />Burgin to eliminate the purchase of one blood pressure monitor and 4 <br />strobe warning lights from the budget, and accept bid B. of the First <br />Responder Medical in the amount of $42,412.00. The motion carried 6 <br />ayes 1 nay, Councilman Wilson voting nay. <br />Mayor Fisher questioned Mr. Burgin regarding possible grants for <br />ambulances. Fire Chief Burgin informed the Council and Mayor Fisher <br />there were no grants available at this time. <br />Mayor Fisher called for consideration of and action of Resolutions. <br />Resolution No. 86 -001 authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City <br />of Paris to execute on behalf of the City of Paris a contract with <br />Heritage Constructors,.Inc for construction of Additions to the Water <br />Treatment Plant was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, <br />seconded by Councilman Williams for adoption of the Resolution.
