Within 7 days after the adoption of the <br />City's annual budget, the City will calculate the <br />charges as established herein for the succeeding <br />fiscal year and provide LCWSD a copy of such <br />calculations. The amount so calculated shall be <br />the initial price for the ensuing year. As an <br />example of how the changes will be made to LCWSD <br />by City for water, see Exhibit D hereto attached. <br />6.. The City shall determine by audit of its <br />books and records prepared in accordance with <br />generally accepted accounting methods and prin- <br />ciples, its actual water production costs during <br />each fiscal year. The actual cost shall be used <br />to calculate adjustments from the cost paid to the <br />City during the completed fiscal year. The City <br />shall provide LCWSD a copy of the calculations and <br />they shall be subject to review and challenge by <br />LCWSD. <br />7. In the event charges paid by LCWSD <br />exceed the charge that would have been made based <br />on actual costs the City shall credit its account <br />for such amount.
