t r♦ RESOLUTION NO. 85 -008 WHEREAS, the City of Paris has need for professional services and, Arthur Andersen & Company, 1201 Elm Street, Dallas, Texas 75270, has made a proposal for assistance in the implementation of Municipal Software Consultant's, Inc.'s financial accounting, accounts payable, fixed assets, utility billing, payroll and tax billing and collection modules for the City of Paris's IBM System 36 Computer; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Paris that such proposal be accepted and that a professional services contract in the form of Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof, which should be approved; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the proposal of Arthur Andersen & Company for professional services described in Exhibit A attached hereto, be, and the same is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham, be, and he is .hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City of Paris to execute the professional services contract attached hereto as Exhibit A. A motion was made by Council- man Wilson, seconded by Councilman Bell for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
