Mayor Graham called for tabulations of bids for a communications console for the Police Department, and the following bids were presented: Com Center Corporation $19,113.00 Los Angeles, Calif. Motorola, Inc. $24,761.26 Dallas, Texas Councilman Fisher moved that the bids received at a public bid opening on March 26, 1985 be spread on the record and that inasmuch as Com Center Corporation had submitted the lowest and best bid that a contract for providing the City with a Communications Console be awarded Com Center Corporation for supplying such item meeting City specifications. The motion was seconded by Councilman Hoog and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Graham called for the tabulations of bids for runway striping at Cox Field Airport, and the following Bids were presented: . M & M Sweeping & Striping Strip -A -Zone Tracy Clinkenbeard $17,932.50 $14,035.83 $25,702.25 Councilman Wilson moved that the bids received at a public bid opening be spread on the record and that inasmuch as Strip -A -Zone had submitted the lowest and best bid that a contract for providing the City with runway striping be awarded to Strip - A -Zone for supplying such item meeting City specifications. The motion was seconded by Councilman Burnett and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
