the cost of annual participation in a professional <br />development seminar with a duration of one week or <br />less; fees associated with and the cost of travel <br />lodging and food for DOTY'S and his wife's attendance <br />at annual International City Management Association <br />meetings, Texas City Management Association meeting and <br />Texas Municipal League meetings within the 48 <br />contiguous states. <br />11. Except as otherwise provided herein', DOTY will <br />receive all benefits customarily provided other CITY employ- <br />ees including but not limited to sick leave, holidays health <br />insurance and workman's compensation. <br />12. A. CITY reserves the unilateral right to <br />terminate this agreement-at any time for cause. Cause, <br />as used herein, means conviction of a felony or an <br />offense involving moral turpitude, gross negligence or <br />i <br />gross malfeasance in performance of lawful duties. <br />Such termination will follow the procedure established <br />in the CITY'S Charter and afford DOTY due process. <br />B. CITY additionally reserves the unilateral <br />right to terminate this agreement at any time by paying <br />the balance of its commitments under this agreement. <br />In such case, DOTY waives the City's Charter provisions <br />dealing with the discharge of its City Manager. <br />C. Except as herein provided, DOTY reserves the <br />unilateral right to terminate this agreement by giving <br />90 days notice of such termination to the CITY. If <br />DOTY elects to so terminate this agreement between <br />'-1 October 1, 1983 and June 30, 1985, he shall within 60 <br />days of such termination repay CITY all benefits he has <br />received under Section 9C herein. <br />D. If this agreement is not extended through,the <br />subsequent term, DOTY may terminate the agreement by <br />giving 30 days notice of such termination. <br />4 <br />
