City Manager Doty requested the Council's consideration of a sludge <br />disposal system for the Sewer Treatment Plant which involved a spray <br />irrigation system. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman <br />McWaters, seconded by Councilman Wilson approving the sludge disposal <br />spray irrigation system. The motion carried 6 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman <br />Francis voting nay. <br />Concerning the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation, <br />Mayor Graham called for a public hearing at the next regular Council <br />meeting on the following petitions: Dorothy Mallison - Lots 15, 23, and <br />24, City Block 157 from a Multi - Family dwelling district No. 1 to a <br />Commercial District (C) located on the west side of S. Main Street, <br />170 Feet South of Long Avenue; Darrell Coats - Lot 15, City Block <br />295 from Planned Development - Shopping Center to Planned Development - <br />Housing or Community Unit Development located at 3315 Lamar Ave; <br />Franklin J. Homer - Lot 1F -A, City Block 306, from Commercial District <br />to a Commercial District and Specific Use Permit - Auto Fuel Sales <br />located on the Southeast corner of N. Main Street and Stone Avenue; <br />Don Oglesby - Part of Lot 35 -D, City Block 249 from General Retail <br />District to General Retail District and Specific Use Permit - Auto <br />Fuel Sales (49) a 140' x 140' tract located on the north side of <br />Clarksville Street, approximately 850 feet east of Johnson Woods <br />Drive. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman McGee <br />calling the public hearing May 9, 1983. The motion carried 7 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />
