413 Letter of Agreement — 2003 Paris — Page 3 10. Current member of the National Main Street Network. Participation in the National Main Street Network connects local programs to their counterparts throughout the nation, providing them with valuable information resources. Membership in the National Main Street Network is compulsory in order to receive national recognition through the National Main Center. These Ten Criteria are mandatory for eligibility as a Texas Main Street city. The City of Paris's Main Street Manager will attend at least two of the training opportunities. The City of Paris is accepting Official Graduate Main Street City status with the understanding and agreement that they will apply the Main Street approach in their downtown revitalization program for the period, January 1, 2003 through December 31, 2003. The appropriate stipend is due by December 31, 2002. The Texas Main Street Center and the City of Paris's relationship described above is hereby agreed to by the undersigned: City Manager, City of Paris Date Kay Harvey- Mosley, State Coordinator Date Texas Main Street Program Community Heritage Development Division F. Lawerence Oaks, Executive Director Date Texas Historical Commission Resolution No. 2003 -011, authorizing the advertisement for bids for the purchase of Flexible Base Material (White Rock) for use in the Street Division of the Public Works Department, was presented. A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tern Manning, seconded by Councilman Weekly, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
