4'82 <br />Planning and Zoning Meeting <br />February 4, 2003 <br />Page 2 <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the'petition of Alma Akins for a change <br />in zoning from a Two - Family Dwelling District (2F) to a One - Family <br />Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) With Specific Use Permit (39) <br />Manufactured Home, Lot 3, City Block 54, being number 445 NW 4th <br />Street. <br />Motion was made to approve by Louis Yates, Jr., seconded by Bobby <br />L. Myers. Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />4. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Mark Easlon for a change in <br />zoning from an Office District (0) to a Commercial District (C), Lot 6, <br />City Block 306 -A, being the 300 Block of Stone Avenue. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Mark Easlon, 2540 Meadowlark, spoke in favor of the petition stating <br />that he wanted to build an office building at this location but he had one <br />tenant that wanted to build a dry cleaners. The dry cleaners would <br />require General Retail zoning. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />5. Consideration of and action on the petition of Mark Easlon for a change <br />in zoning from an Office District (0) to a Commercial District (C), Lot <br />6, City Block 306 -A, being the 300 Block of Stone Avenue. <br />Motion was made to approve as General Retail by Bobby Myers, <br />seconded by Marshall Kent. Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 <br />nays. <br />
