551 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING A NEW SUB -LEASE AGREEMENT FOR <br />THE PARIS RODEO AND HORSE CLUB CONCESSION STAND WHICH <br />IS A PART OF THE GROUNDS SUBLEASE BETWEEN THE RED RIVER <br />VALLEY FAIR ASSOCIATION AND THE PARIS RODEO AND HORSE <br />CLUB; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO <br />THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Red River Valley Fair Association has requested approval from the City <br />Council of the City of Paris to approve a new Sub -Lease Agreement for the Paris Rodeo and Horse <br />Club Concession Stand to replace the existing concession sub -lease which is a part of the grounds <br />sublease agreement with the Paris Rodeo and Horse Club approved July 9, 2001, in Resolution No. <br />2001 -108; and, <br />WHEREAS, it would be in the best interests of the citizens of the city of Paris that such new <br />concession stand sub -lease agreement with Delesha Jeffery be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br />Section 2. That the Red River Valley Fair Association be, and it is hereby, granted approval <br />to enter into a new concession stand sublease agreement between the Paris Rodeo and Horse Club <br />and Delesha Jeffery in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto. <br />Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this 10th day of February; 2003. <br />Michael J.
