Mayor Malone called for the reading of a previously authorized Traffic Ordinance concerning stop signs. ORDINANCE NO. 2560 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC - CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29 -80 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL 1, 1981. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Wortham for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Malone called for the reading of a previously authorized Traffic Ordinance concerning no parking zone on the West side of 100 block of 3rd S. E. and a no parking zone on 24th S. E. between Clarksville and Jefferson Rd. Asst. Police Chief, James Barnett, appeared before the Council stating there was objections to the no parking zone by property owners adjacent to the PJC Apartments and some confusion about recommendations. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Kohls, seconded by Councilman Burnett to refer the matter back to the Traffic Commission for their clarification and recommendation to the City Council. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Resolution No. 2088 authorizing the City of Paris the Landlord's City National Bank of Paris was Burnett, seconded by Councilman motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. and directing the Mayor to execute on behalf of Subordination Agreement in favor of the First presented.
