X46 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2100 . <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore <br />in Resolution No. 1737 authorize the contracting with the Chamber of <br />Commerce of Lamar County to use hotel occupancy tax funds for pro- <br />moting and advertising; the City of Paris, which contract has been re- <br />newed for periods, the current of which expires on the 31st day of <br />December, 1981; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, <br />does hereby recommend for appointment for the Councilman position <br />on said Committee, Joe Graham; NOM, TIIIREFORI:, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That Joe Graham, be, and he is hereby appointed as <br />councilman member on the Visitors and Convention Council of the <br />Chamber of Commerce of Lamar County, for a period beginning <br />July 1, 1981 and ending December 31, 1983; and, <br />BE IT FURTT IER RESOI,V1,'D, That a committee be, and the <br />same is hereby appointed, consisting of the Mayor of the City of Paris, <br />City Manager of the City of Paris, and Councilman Joe Graham, <br />to serve as the committee to review and approve the proposed pro - <br />1,ram of work of the Visitors and Convention Council of the Chamber <br />of Commerce of Lamar County under said contract or its successor. <br />Passed and adopted this 8th day of June, 1981. <br />13111y �o nett, Mayor. <br />ATTEST: <br />I]. Haynes, Ci Attorney <br />Resolution No. 2101 appointing Barbara Wilson, Joe Graham, Bill Lightfoot and <br />Wynona Harrison as members to the Committee for Architectural Preservation of <br />the Central Business District of the City of Paris for a term of two years, <br />beginning July 1,1981 and ending June 30, 1983 was presented. A motion was <br />made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Graham for adoption of <br />the Resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
