i <br />f <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That from the above and fore- <br />going canvass of the returns of the votes in the four (4) respec- <br />tive voting boxes in such election, it is declared and determined <br />that Travis Wortham is the person receiving the highest number <br />of votes of the votes cast at such election for Councilman From <br />Ward One (1), and is therefore elected to serve as Councilman <br />From Ward One (1) and as a member of the City Council of the <br />City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years; that Addie J. Bufford <br />is the person receiving the highest number of votes of the votes <br />cast at such election for Councilman From Ward Two (2), and is <br />therefore elected to serve as Councilman From Ward Two (2) and <br />as a member of the City Council of the City of Paris for the en- <br />suing two (2) years; that Billy Joe Burnett is the person receiving <br />the highest number of votes of the votes cast at such election for <br />Councilman From Ward Three (3), and is therefore elected to <br />serve as Councilman From Ward Three (3) and as a member of <br />the City Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years; <br />and that Kenneth E. Kohls is the person receiving the highest <br />number of votes of the votes cast at such election for Councilman <br />From Ward Six (6), and is therefore elected to serve as <br />Councilman From Ward Six (6) and as a member of the City <br />Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years. <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris <br />in special session convened pursuant to the directions of the City <br />Charter of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on this the 16th day of <br />April, 1980. <br />Michael E.
