P, <br />245 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1872 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris. did at its <br />Council Meeting on the 8th day of May, 1978, approve the adver- <br />tisement for bids for Agricultural Lease, Cox Field, in accordance <br />with detailed specifications, which bids were received until 10:00 <br />o'clock A. M. , Wednesday, June 7, 1978; and, <br />WHEREAS, the best bid for said agricultural lease was made <br />by Loma Alta Ranch, and it should be awarded the lease., upon can- <br />cellation of the lease. heretofore entered into between the City of <br />Paris and Agpro, Inc. ; and, <br />WHEREAS, the form of such lease is attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF - <br />PARIS, That the bid of Loma Alta. Ranch for the Agricultural Lease, <br />Cox Field, in the amount of $2, 750.00 for each of the first 3 years. <br />of the primary term and $3, 300.00 per year for the five year option, <br />is hereby accepted and let, and the lease heretofore entered into be- <br />tween the City of Paris and Agpro, Inc. is hereby cancelled; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Manager. of the <br />City of Paris, Robert W. Sokoll, be, and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the agricul- <br />tural lease with Loma Alta Ranch for Cox Field, upon the terms <br />and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto. <br />Y <br />Passed and adopted this 12th day of June, 1978. <br />XiChael E. Motion was made by Councilman Wunsch, seconded by Councilman <br />Burnett approving the request. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll requested consideration of a resolution authorizing -the Building <br />Hazard Inspection Committee to make inspections of several dilapidated buildings.. <br />Resolution No. 1873, authorizing the Building Hazard Ins-pection Committee to Droceed <br />to call a hearing on 26 iteips was prosented. Motion was made by Councilman Wunsch,. <br />seconded by Councilman Williams for approval of the resolution. Motion carried l <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />
