Mr. Ellis Polk, local manager of Midwest Video Corporation, appeared be- fore the Council requesting authorization to sub -lease a 3t .x 31 space on property now leased by Midwest Video Corporation from the City of Paris. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman King and seconded by Councilman Stone that the Midwest Video Corporation be authorized to sub - lease a tract 3' x 3' to the Motorola Corporation. The motion carried; 7 ayes, O nays. Resolution No. 1618, appointing F. D. Mallory, III, to the Board of Adjust- ment and Ben Hinds as an alternate member of the Board of Adjustment, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Rainey and seconded by Council- __ rian Moore that the Resolution be adopted. the motion carried= 7 ayes, O nays. RESOLUTION NO. 1618 WHEREAS, B. M. Felty has resigned as a regular member of the Board of Adjustment, and it is necessary to appoint a regular member to serve the unexpired term of B. M. Felty which ends December 31, 1974; and, WHEREAS, F. D. Mallory, III has been serving as an alternate member of the Board of Adjustment, whose term of office ends December 31, 1974; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That F. D. Mallory, III, be, and he is hereby appointed as a regular member of the Board of Adjustment, to serve the unexpired term of B. M. Felty which ends December 31, 1974, and Ben Hinds, be, and he is hereby appointed as an alternate member of the Board of Adjustment to serve the unexpired term of F. D.
