ROBERT NORRIS <br />AND MRS. J. T. BRYAN BE APPOINTED ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR <br />WARD THREE (3) AND PROVIDING FOR PROPER POSTING AND <br />PUBLICATION OF ELECTION NOTICES. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section 1. That that part of Section 2 of Resolution No. 1630 of <br />the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, dealing with Ward Three (3), be <br />amended so that such shall read as follows: <br />"...Ward Three (3): <br />Polling Place: Calvary Assembly of God Church <br />240 19th Street, N. W. <br />Officials: Mrs. Robert Norris Presiding Judge <br />Mrs. J. T. Bryan Judge... <br />Section 2. That Section 5 of Resolution No. 1630 of the City of <br />Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: <br />"Section 5. The Chief of Police of the City of Paris <br />is hereby directed and instructed to post a properly executed <br />Notice of Election pursuant to this order for election, signed <br />by the Mayor of the City of Paris and attested by the City <br />Clerk, on the bulletin board in the Office of the County Clerk <br />and on the bulletin board in the City Hall at least twenty (20) <br />days before the election; further, a properly executed copy of <br />such Notice of Election shall be published at least one time <br />not more than twenty -five (25) days not less than ten (10) <br />days before the election in at least one daily newspaper pub- <br />lished in Lamar County, and copies of the notice shall also <br />be filed with the County Clerk of Lamar County and the <br />City Clerk of the City of Paris.
