Mr. Bill Lightfoot, Architect, employed for the City Hall re- modeling project <br />appeared before the Council and presented floor plan sketches of the project. <br />Mr. Lightfoot estimated a cost of $116,000.00 to complete the project and <br />offered alternatives for deletion from his "rough estimates" to bring the work <br />to an $85,000.00 budgeted figure. <br />After discussion a motion was made by Councilman King, seconded by Councilman <br />Sterling that based on new estimated cost of the project at $116,000.00 the <br />Architect be authorized to proceed with the project. Motion carried: 6 ayes, <br />I nay, Councilman Whitaker voting nay. <br />Mayor Brunette announced the Council would go into Executive Session for the <br />purpose of discussion with legal counsel. <br />City Attorney Haynes discussed litigation aga -inst the City concerning single <br />member district. <br />Mayor Brunette declared the Executive Session closed and the Council Meeting open. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />MAYOR JAMES M.
