AMBULANCE SERVICE CONTRACT <br />STATE OF TEXAS . 0 <br />COUNTY OF LAMA.R 0 <br />This contract made and entered into this the 9th day of June, <br />1975, by and between the CITY OF PARIS, Paris, Texas, acting by <br />and through its Mayor, duly authorized, hereinafter called City, the <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR, STATE OF TEXAS, acting by and through its <br />County Judge, duly authorized, hereinafter called County, and <br />CASS AMBULANCE SERVICE, INC., Paris, Texas, a corporation; <br />acting <br />by and <br />through its President, <br />duly authorized, hereinafter. <br />called <br />Cass, <br />in consideration of the <br />mutual covenants, agreements, <br />stipulations and payments, the parties hereby contract and agree as <br />follows. <br />1. Cass covenants and agrees that it will furnish and provide <br />adequate ambulance service and related services to all persons within <br />the corporate limits of Paris, Texas and the County of Lamar. <br />2. Cass covenants and agrees that it will comply with all <br />safety requirements of the law pertaining to the furnishing of ambu- <br />lance service and that all vehicles used as ambulances will be dis- <br />tinctly marked and colored as required by State Law and City <br />ordinances. <br />3. Cass agrees that ambulance attendants will be certified <br />by the Texas State Department of Health under the terms of the <br />Emergency Ambulance Act; that each emergency ambulance shall <br />have the services of a driver and attendant, one of whom has satis - <br />factorily completed the Fled Cross Advanced First -Aid Course and the <br />advanced Sioue of Texas Emergency Attendants Examination or vueha <br />iS q«_tlitiCd as an Emergency 'EvIedical Technician - Ambulance; that all <br />EXHIBIT A <br />36-4 <br />
