205 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1662 <br />WHEREAS, certain grant. financial assistance funded under <br />the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 (PL93 -203) <br />is available to cities; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it in <br />the best interest of the City of Paris to receive grant assistance <br />under such Act; and, <br />WHEREAS, in order to receive grant assistance it is nec- <br />essary to enter into an agreement upon the terms and conditions and <br />in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, That the City Manager of the City of Paris, Kerry R. <br />Sweatt, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on <br />behalf of the City of Paris the agreement for grant assistance under <br />the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973, upon the <br />terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached <br />hereto. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Kerry R. Sweatt, <br />City Manager, be, and he is hereby authorized to act as authorized <br />representative as that term is used in the Comprehensive Employ- <br />ment and Training Act. <br />Passed and. adopted this 10th day of February, 1975. <br />j Me s M.
