269 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1667 . <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did at its <br />Council Meeting on the 10th day of February, 1975, approve the <br />advertisement for bids for furnishing and delivery of one new 1975 <br />Truck Cab and Chassis for the City of Paris Public Works <br />Department, in accordance with detailed plans and specifications, <br />dated February, 1975, which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock <br />A. M., Wednesday, March 5, 1975; and, <br />WHEREAS, the best bid for said equipment was made by <br />Lowry Chevrolet, Inc. , Paris, Texas, and it should be awarded the <br />contract for such equipment; and, <br />WHEREAS, the form of contract to furnish said equipment is <br />attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the bid of Lowry Chevrolet, Inc., to furnish and deliver <br />one new 1975 Truck Cab and Chassis for the City of Paris Public <br />Works Department, within eight (8) calendar days if body installed <br />by Fleet Equipment Co. , in the amount of $7, 264. 82, is hereby <br />accepted and let, conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of <br />the terms and specifications included in the bid documents; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of <br />Paris, James M. Brunette, be, and he is hereby authorized and di- <br />rected to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the contract with <br />Low-r— Chevrolet, Inc. to furnish and deliver one new 1975 Truck <br />Cab and Chassis for the City of Paris Public Works Department, <br />upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A <br />attached hereto. <br />Passed and adopted this 10th clay of March, 1975. <br />Jarn s M.
