Q- 0 <br />Resolution Rio. 1670, appointing Bill Adams to serve the unexpired term of B. C. Sim - <br />mons as a member of the Electrical Board, was presented. A motion was made by Coun- <br />cilman Rainey and seconded by Councilman Moore for the adoption of the resolution. <br />The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />RESOLUTION NO. I -670 . <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris, by its adoption of an Electrical <br />Ordinance, provided for the appointment of an Electrical Board; and, <br />WHEREAS, B. C. Simmons, whose term of office would expire <br />December 31, 1975, is no longer available for service; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, <br />has recommended to the City Council the appointment of Bill Adam <br />to fill the unexpired term of B. C. Simmons, which term will expire <br />December 31, 1975; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE -CITY COUNCIL OF TI-lE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the recommendation of the Mayor be. accepted and <br />approved, and that the appointment of Bill Adams, to serve the un- <br />expired term of B. C. Sammons as a member of the Electrical Board, <br />which term will expire on December 31, 1975, be, and the same is <br />hereby made. <br />Passed and adopted this 10th day of March, 1975. <br />ATrrEST: <br />1 -1.
