City Manager Sweatt pre- <br />sented a tabulation showing only one bid having been received, that being the B & B <br />Equipment Company in the amount of $7,889.00'and recommended its approval. <br />Resolution No. 1755, authorizing the city manager to enter into a contract with the <br />B & B Equipment Company for construction of drainage improvements along the ease side <br />of 24th Street S. E.. between Lamar Avenue and Hubbard Street in the amount of $7,889.00, <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Rainey and seconded by Councilman hinds <br />for the adoption of the resolution. The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
