Call meeting to order — Richard Manning Chair 2. Citizens' Input (Persons desiring to address the Paris EDC Board must limit their presentation to no more than two minutes. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Board from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the Paris EDC, Board Members or employees are not appropriate for citizens' input.) 3. Discuss and possibly take action on infrastructure support for Turner Industries. 4. Discuss and possibly take action on the Industrial Park and 2305 NW Loop 286 cleanup. 5. Discuss and possibly take action on funding a Haas CNC Tool Room Lathe for PJC to provide machining training under the High Demand Job Training Program. 6. Discuss and possibly approve Minutes of September 15, 2015 Meeting. 7. Discuss and possibly approve September 2015 Financials. 8. Convene into Executive Session: a) Pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Governmental Code: 1) to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or 2) to hear a complaint to charge against an officer or employee. • Executive Director Staff Position b) Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss or deliberate: 1) Commercial or Financial information that the governmental body has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and with which the governmental body is conducting economic development negotiations, or 2) to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect: New Jobs or Retained Jobs and New or Expanding Industry 9. Reconvene into Open Session and possibly take action on item(s) discussed in Executive Session.
