Dwayne Demetio, 3411 N.E. Loop 286 Paris, Texas, spoke in favor of the petition. <br />Mr. Demetio stated he has been talking to TxDOT and hopefully in the future Orr <br />Nissan will be easier for customers to access. Mr. Demetio further stated he wishes <br />the board will approve the variance on the height of the sign. <br />Sue Lancaster, 1020 Bonham Street Paris, Texas, spoke in favor of the petition. <br />Mrs. Lancaster stated we want to do everything we can to encourage our new <br />businesses to be successful. If this is what Orr Nissan needs to adhere to their <br />design regulations and visibility, she doesn't think this would be a problem. The <br />City should want everyone to be successful on Loop 286. Mrs. Lancaster further <br />stated she encourages the board to help them achieve their request. <br />B. No one spoke in opposition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Motion was made by Bryan Glass, seconded by Jerry Haning to approve the variance <br />request. Motion carried 3 -2, with Charles Richard and David Hamilton in opposition. <br />4. Meeting adjourned at 12:21 p.m. <br />APPROVED THE 28" DAY OF JULY, 2015. <br />
