REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />WEDNESDAY, October 14, 2015 <br />Commissioners Present: Commissioners Absent: <br />Ruth Ann Alsobrook- Chair <br />Cindy Allcorn- Secretary, Vice Chair <br />Phillip Peeples <br />Chris Dux <br />Linda Knox <br />Sarah Barbee <br />Pat Conrad <br />Matt Frierson- Council Liaison <br />John Godwin- CM <br />Cheri Bedford- HPO <br />Commissioner Alsobrook called the meeting to order at 4:02 p.m. and welcomed the newest Commissioner, <br />Pat Conrad. Quorum present <br />A motion was made Commissioner Dux to approve minutes of September 28, 2015 meeting, seconded by <br />Commissioner Peeples; motion carried 7 -0 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Knox to elect Ruth Ann Alsobrook as Chair of the Commission, <br />seconded by Commissioner Allcorn; motion carried 7 -0 *Commissioner Alsobrook was currently serving <br />as vice- chair, so a new vice chair was nominated. <br />A motion was made to by Commissioner Dux to elect Cindy Alcorn as Vice — Chair of the Commission, <br />seconded by Commissioner Knox; motion carried 7— 0 *Commissioner Allcorn will serve as Vice- Chair and <br />Secretary. <br />Commissioner Alsobrook requested the HPO check with Code Enforcement office on historic houses that are <br />potentially listed for demolition. <br />Regularly scheduled meeting adjourned at 4:08 P.m. <br />i <br />APPROVED THIS I0 DAY OF M6\1emkrP-015. <br />Signature <br />ChO <br />Title <br />Commission entered into Certified Local Government training facilitated by Madeline Clites, Certified Local <br />Government Program Specialist, Community Heritage Development Division, Texas Historical Commission <br />immediately after the meeting. <br />
