Regular Council Meeting <br />October 12, 2015 <br />Page 2 <br />Consent Agenda <br />Mayor Hashmi inquired of Council Members if they wished to pull any items from the <br />Consent Agenda for discussion. There being none, a Motion to approve the consent agenda was <br />made by Council Member Lancaster and seconded by Council Member Clifford. Motion <br />carried, 7 ayes — 0 nays. <br />5. Approve minutes from the meeting on September 28, 2015. <br />6. Receive reports and /or minutes from the following boards, commissions, and committees: <br />a. Airport Advisory Board (8 -20 -2015) <br />b. Historic Preservation Commission (9 -9 -2015) <br />7. Approve agreements with non - profit agencies to perform services for the City. <br />8. Approve the Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Klement 296 -A Addition, located at 3215 and <br />3225 Lamar Avenue. <br />9. Approve the Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Paris EMS North Station, City Block 297, <br />located at 2310 and 2320 N.W. 19th Street. <br />10. Approve the Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Paris Public Storage Addition City Block 281, <br />located at 1640 Clement Road. <br />11. Approve the Final Plat of Lots 1 and 2, Block A, Oak Ridge 318 Addition, located in the <br />3000 Block of N.E. Loop 286. <br />Regular Agenda <br />12. Conduct a public hearing, discuss and act on ORDINANCE NO. 2015 -028: AN <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, <br />AS HERETOFORE AMENDED, SO AS TO REZONE LOT PART OF 12 AND PART <br />OF 13, CITY BLOCK 297, BEING LOCATED AT 2310 AND 2320 N.W. 19TH <br />STREET, IN THE CITY OF PARIS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS, FROM A LIGHT <br />INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) TO A PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS <br />DISTRICT (PLI); DIRECTING A CHANGE ACCORDINGLY IN THE OFFICAL <br />ZONING MAP OF THE CITY; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE, A <br />SEVERALIBILTIY CLAUSE, A SAVINGS CLAUSE, A PENALTY CLAUSE; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />City Manager John Godwin explained that Planning and Zoning recommended approval <br />of this change and this was the site for the proposed new EMS facility. <br />
