Call meeting to order — Richard Manning Chair <br />2. Citizens' Input <br />(Persons desiring to address the Paris EDC Board must limit their presentation to no more than <br />two minutes. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the <br />Board from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an <br />existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the Paris <br />EDC, Board Members or employees are not appropriate for citizens' input.) <br />3. Discuss and possibly approve Minutes of the January 19, 2016 Meeting. <br />4. Discuss and possibly approve January 2016 Financials. <br />5. Discuss and possible action on how the car allowance should be facilitated by the PEDC for the <br />Executive Director. <br />6. Discuss and possible action on the participation level with Team Texas through the Texas <br />Economic Development Council. <br />7. Discuss and possible action on travel to the TEDC Winter Conference in Bastrop, TX. <br />8. Discuss and possible action to review PEDC Standard Operating Procedures. <br />9. Convene into Executive Session: <br />a) Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss or deliberate: 1) <br />Commercial or Financial information that the governmental body has received from a <br />business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near <br />the territory of the governmental body and with which the governmental body is conducting <br />economic development negotiations, or 2) to deliberate the offer of a financial or other <br />incentive to a business prospect. <br />1.
