consistent with the City Zoning Ordinance, and in the best interests of the public health, <br />safety, and welfare of the citizens of the City of Paris by a vote of _ ayes and _ nays. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby in <br />all things approved. <br />Section 2. That Section 5 -108 in Section 5, "Zoning District Boundaries," of Zoning <br />Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Texas, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br />"S-108 Where physical features on the ground are at variance with information <br />shown on the official zoning district map or when there arises a question as to how or <br />whether a parcel of property is zoned and such question cannot be resolved by the <br />application of subsections 5 -101 through 5 -107, the property shall be considered as a zone <br />compatible with the Future Land Use Plan within the Paris adopted Comprehensive Plan." <br />Section 3. That Section 6 -100 in Section 6, "Temporary Zoning - Annexed <br />Territory," of Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Texas, be, and the same is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />"6 -100 All territory hereafter annexed to the City of Paris shall be temporarily <br />classified as a zoning district consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. The procedure for <br />establishing permanent zoning on annexed territory shall conform to the procedure <br />established by law for the adoption of original zoning regulations." <br />Section 4.
