Meeting Minutes of the Main Street Advisory Board <br />107 Kaufman St <br />Paris Texas <br />City Council Chambers <br />Tuesday, March 8, 2016 <br />Present: <br />Jill Drake <br />Glee Emmite <br />Laurie Redus <br />Phillip Peeples <br />Cody Kelley <br />Randy Hider <br />Cheri Bedford, Main Street Manager <br />Billy Ternado, City Council <br />Alan Efrussy, P & Z Committee <br />1. Call meeting to order Jill Drake 4:35 pm <br />Absent: <br />Becky Semple, Chamber Liaison <br />2. Welcome two new members: Cody Kelley and Randy Hider. Jill Drake had each member introduce <br />themselves and describe their Committees. <br />3. Citizens Forum: Alan Efussy Presented an Exhibit "A" that represented land uses recommended by staff to <br />be deleted from the CA Zone. The MSAB had no objection to the proposed deletion and provided support. <br />4. Approval of minutes of February 4, 2016. Motion was made by Glee Emmite and seconded by Phillip <br />Peeples. The motion carried. <br />5. Coordinator report: Cheri Bedford: <br />a. Resignation of Missy Starnes- discussion followed asking Cheri Bedford to go to City Council and have an <br />applicant appointed to fill her unexpired term. <br />b. March 21 Ceremony marking of Great Fire of Paris- Bagpipe, Parade, Relatives of the Survivors of Fire, <br />School Children, Solemn Ceremony - There is a rain plan <br />c. Farmers Market Opens May 7, 2016- Lots of interest - Providence Ranch opened a business as a result of <br />participation in Market <br />d. Wine Fest- April 9, 2016 Tickets sale are at 349 this year the total for sale is 400 <br />e. Save April 23, 2016 for dedication and opening ceremony of the Community Park at noon - Restroom is <br />coming together nice <br />6. Committee Reports - <br />a. Promotions- Jill Drake — no report <br />b. PDA /Design -Glee Emmite- Postcards ready for sale with proceeds going to Grand Reclamation <br />
