Shane Grissom reviewed the final plat with commissioners. Motion was made by John Lee, <br />seconded by Barney Bray to approve the final plat. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />12. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Love's Subdivision <br />U.S. HWY 271, located in the 3200 Block of North Main Street. <br />Shane Grissom reviewed the preliminary plat with commissioners. Motion was made by <br />Mike Folmar, seconded by John Lee to approve the preliminary plat, subject to the <br />Engineering Technicians recommendations. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />13. Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Hodges 249 Addition, <br />located in the 3100 Block of Pride Circle. <br />Shane Grissom reviewed the final plat with commissioners. Motion was made by Holland <br />Harper, seconded by Billy Trenado to table the final plat. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />14. Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Stone Ridge Phase 7, <br />located in the 4700 Block of Boulder Lane. <br />Shane Grissom reviewed the final plat with commissioners. Motion was made by Jerry <br />Akers, seconded by Billy Trenado to approve the final plat, subject to the Engineering <br />Technicians recommendations. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />15. Discussion regarding definition of a solar farm and potential allowable zoning districts and <br />regulations. <br />Alan Efrussy, Planning Manager stated recently a potential applicant contacted city staff to <br />discuss the possibility of establishing a solar farm within the City of Paris. Presently we do <br />not have a definition for this use, and therefore do not have a Zoning Ordinance inclusion <br />regarding a district(s) where said use could be located and regulated. Mr. Efrussy reviewed <br />Exhibit A with the commission regarding a solar farm specific use permits. The Planning <br />and Zoning Commission had concerns regarding the specific use permits and Exhibit A. <br />Motion was made by Holland Harper, seconded by John Lee to recommend the Planning <br />Manager allow solar farms in Light Industrial District (LI), Heavy Industrial District (HI) <br />and Agricultural District (A). Motion carried 7 -0. <br />16. Discussion of recommended land uses to be deleted from the Central Area (CA) Zoning <br />District. <br />Alan Efrussy, Planning Manager presented the recommended land uses to be deleted from <br />the Central Area (CA) Zoning District. The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed <br />the items recommended to be deleted from the Central Area (CA) Zoning District. <br />Section 8 -102 Special Uses <br />
