Call meeting to order by Glee Emmite serving as Co -Chair at Jill Drake's absence called <br />meeting to order at 4:34 pm <br />2. Welcome to a new member, Leah Rolen who will be serving in the unexpired term of Misty <br />Starnes. Glee Emmite had each member introduce themselves and describe their Committees. <br />3. Citizens Forum: None noted <br />4. Motion was made by for approval of minutes of March 8, 2016 by Phillip Peeples and <br />seconded by Cody Kelley. The motion carried. <br />5. Coordinator report: Cheri Bedford: <br />a. 100 Trees 1916 Centennial Planning is beginning today -the project made possible with <br />Public Works Dept. and Atmos Electric <br />b. Slow Roll Planned for May 2, 2016 The path will be the perimeter on the 1916 Fire <br />C. Buildiing Inventory is in progress. This is to update 2006 Inventory — we need a current <br />list of Historical Contributing and Non - Contributing Buildings. <br />d. Farmer's Market Opening is May 7. 2016- Lots of interest - Providence Ranch opened a <br />business as a result of participation in Market <br />e. Texas Treasure Business Award - received the packets awarding for those in business <br />for 50 yrs. plus — There will a celebration to present these awards <br />f. BIG Grant Update -The latest grant project for Salon Beauty about to be completed and <br />is about to be paid. <br />g. Centennial Update- The celebration went well and was well attended — The Bus tours <br />were sold out. <br />f. Save April 23, 2016 for dedication of Community Park at first United Methodist Church. <br />Celebration at noon with food trucks, music and children. The restroom capstone will be <br />installed this week. <br />Committee Reports — <br />a. Organization- No report <br />b. PDA — Design — Glee Emmite- Working on design to advertise Second Saturday- Cards <br />were advertising this in Wine Fest Swag Bags. <br />C. HPC /Economic Restructure- Phillip Peeples- working on Business Inventory <br />d. Promotions- Wine Fest — a success with 400 tickets sold and good music and weather. <br />e. VCC /Chamber -Becky Semple- Archery Tournament had 1570 families and archers. <br />May 141h Air Show at Cox Field. Food Trucks. Cheri and Becky to attend Tourism College as <br />Senior class — Their project to present is the Trail de Paris. <br />
