SUBJECT: Bid for Grubbing/Clearing, Grinding/Removal of Brush, Stumps and all
Vegetation within Designated Drainage Channels
DATE: July 5, 2016
BACKGROUND: This is the bid for Grubbing/Clearing, Grinding/Removal of Brush,
Stumps and all Vegetation within Designated Drainage Channels. The bid tabulation sheet is
attached for details of the bids.
STATUS OF ISSUE: The City of Paris Public Works Department received three sealed bids for
drainage work and would like to award bid according to lowest bidder. One bidder was
disqualified for not adhering to bid procedures.
BUDGET: Monies have been budgeted by City Council.
RECOMMENDATION: Award bid to Ray's Tree Service as indicated on the attached bid tabs,
in the approximate amount of $150.00 /per hour with 4 workers per day.
