1. Call meeting to Order -gill Drake 4:35 pm
2. Citizens Forum: None present
3. Approval of minutes of June 14, 2016. Motion was made by Laurie }zedus and seconded by Kandy Hider. The
motion carried.
4. Election of board Chairs- This was table until the next meeting.
5.Con5ideration & Action on BIG Grants.
a. Paris bakery- Kit Lindsey and ,Jennifer Long- 1Ze9uest help for replacing windows on North and West side of
building. After hearing discussion on the project the board moved to approve a grant for $5000 to Jennifer Long
and Kit Lindsey.
6.Coordinator report: Cheri Bedford:
a. Next Main Street Advisory board meeting August 9, 201 6 will be a refresh session- 4:00 t0 7 pm. Light dinner will
be served. We will be working on the work plan.
b. Tourism College was attended by becks Semple and myself Working on a capstone project- NE. trail.org. Since
the trail isjust 112 mile from the Downtown. Will be using a G15 Interactive Map
C. Website (Apdate- parismainstreet.org — working on master plan downtown.
J. Farmers Market doing well- has a volunteer that is doing the marketing on Facebook — Like it and share
C. Survey -Iast survey was completed in 2005 -with new survey using THS database- mapping system and G15 on the
commercial district
f. Main Street building owners building were reviewed by the TH5 Architects - Building observed were: Old Kress
Building, 10+ bonham, 107, and The Kestroom
g. Community }zestroom- Plaque has been installed designating main contributors — soon the signage will be installed for
female and male restrooms.
h. Will 6e attending a historical Preservation Conference in Mobile —Chris Dux will also 6e attending.
7. Discussion of Committee Chair, etc. will be tabled until next meeting.

Consideration & Action on SIG Grants -Glee E-mmite, Vice Chairman conducted consideration for BIG Grant
PCT Representative- Sydney Young — Presented PCT Trust request for roof repair on E)rown Center Theater
5uilding. Previous Patched West roof however now need new roof with insulation. Request $5,000. Motion made 6y Laurie
Redus and seconded by Randy Hider. Motion carried. ,Jill Drake recused herself as she is on the PCT board.
