Meeting Minutes
September 21, 2016
Opening:
The regular meeting of the Paris Public Library Advisory Board was called to order at 4:05 p.m.
Present:
Board members present were Fran Neeley, Connie Dodd, Rebecca Umphrey, Carol James, Michelle
Cowling Daisy Harvill, and director Priscilla McAnally. Denise Kornegay was absent
I. Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved as presented.
II. New Business:
None
III. Old Business:
None
IV. Presentations:
A. Budget Report. The expenditures are on target for the year with approximately
$1300 left in the materials budget at the end of August. This should be spent in
September by incoming standing orders.
B. Statistical Report. There was a slight increase of 2.79% in circulation while visits
showed a slight decrease of 1.39% from August 2015.
V. Friends of the Library:
None
VI. Director's Remarks:
The next meeting will be October 19.
Reavis Wortham will be returning to the library Saturday, October 15 for a book signing
with his latest book in the Red River Mysteries series — Unraveled.
Adjournment: Meeting was adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
