2000-033-ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO 94-016 WHICH AMENDED ZONING ORDINANCE NO 1710 BY REVISING SECTION 3 OF SAID ORDINANCE
ORDINANCE NO. 2000-033
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NUMBER 94-016,
WHICH AMENDED ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BY REVISING SECTION 3 OF SAID
ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR THE APPROVAL OF A SITE PLAN FOR
LOT 13-B, CITY BLOCK 259; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND
PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST 1, 2000.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, has previously adopted
Ordinance No. 94-016, adopted April 11, 1994, establishing a Planned Development -
Commercial District (PD-al) and Planned Development - Housing District (PD-b) on Lots 9, 9-A,
10, 11, 12, and 13, City Block 259; and,
WHEREAS, Section 3 of the aforesaid Ordinance No. 94-016 also approved a site plan
for a portion of the property therein rezoned, for Lots 9 and 10, City Block 259, as shown in
Exhibit A attached thereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve a site plan for another portion of the
property rezoned by Ordinance No. 94-016, the same being on Lot 13-B, City Block 259, and to
amend Section 3 of the aforesaid Ordinance No. 94-016 accordingly; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That the site plan for Lot 13-B, City Block 259, attached hereto as Exhibit
A, as the said property was rezoned by Ordinance No. 94-016, adopted Apri111, 1994, is hereby
in all things approved.
Section 3. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 94-016 of the City of Paris be, and the same
is hereby, amended so that such shall read as follows:
"Section 3.
A. That the site plan of Lots 9 and 10, City Block 259, of the property
herein rezoned, which is attached as Exhibit A, is approved.
B. That the site plan, including the drainage plan, for Lot 13-B, City
Block 259 located in the 500 Block of N. Collegiate Drive, as the same has
been approved as Exhibit A to Ordinance No. , adopted July 6,
2000, is hereby in all things approved and incorporated into this ordinance
by reference. "
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly
repealed.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall become effective on August 1, 2000.
