<br />AN ORDINANCE CONTAINING A HEARING ON PROPERTIES LOCATED IN
<br />THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BELONGING TO VARIOUS OWNERS, AND AN
<br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL FINDING THE MATERIALS REMAINING ON
<br />THE PREMISES TO CONSTITUTE A NUISANCE AND TO BE A FIRE HAZARD TO
<br />LIFE AND PROPERTY AND A HAZARD TO THE LIFE AND WELFARE OF THE
<br />INHABIT ANTS OF THE AREA, AND ORDERING SAID RUBBISH, LUMBER, AND
<br />REFUSE FROM THE STRUCTURES TO BE TORN DOWN AND REMOVED FROM THE
<br />PREMISES IN ORDER TO ABATE SUCH NUISANCE; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS
<br />AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
<br />DATE OF JANUARY 1, 1999.

<br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was called to order by the Mayor of the City of Paris,
<br />Charles H. Neeley, on the 9th day of December, 1999, at 6:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council
<br />Room, City Hall, 135 1st Street S,E., in the city of Paris, Texas; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Building Hazard Inspection Committee fixed
<br />a date for hearing on the resolution referred to the Committee by the City Council on the 18th day
<br />of October, 1999; that said Committee fIxed said hearing at 10:00 o'clock a.m. on the 12th day
<br />of November, 1999, and the hearing was had thereon; and that proper notice was given to the
<br />owner or owners of the structures located at the following addresses:
