AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING
SUBSECTION (a) OF SECTION 14-34 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE
IN THE ANNUAL PERMIT FEES FOR FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF DECEMBER 1, 1999.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That Subsection (a) of Section 14-34 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended so that such shall read as follows:
"Sec. 14-34. Fee.
"(a) The annual permit fee for each food establishment, other than dairies,
creameries, and milk plants, shall be as follows:
"1-5 employees - Fifty dollars ($50.00) per year.
"6-9 employees - One hundred dollars ($100.00) per year.
"Over 9 employees - One hundred fIfty dollars ($150.00) per year."
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly
repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on December 1, 1999.
