1999-048-ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO 1710 AND CHANGING BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY ON LOT 1 CITY BLOCK 347 ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO RANDY BROWN ORDINANCE NO. 99-048 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARD ON LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 347, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO RANDY BROWN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARD SO EST ABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST 1, 1999. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARD be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 347, on property belonging to RANDY BROWN, so as to include in such GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARD the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), and that the boundaries of said GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARD, be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: SITU A TED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, being Lot 1, City Block 347, and a part of the property described in deed from T. W. Johnson and wife, to John C. Isom, dated July 17, 1893, recorded in Volume 74, Page 422, Lamar County Deed Records and being the property deeded to J. C. Isom and wife to Shelton Jack on March 19, 1945, recorded in Volume 282, Page 75, and the property described in deed from J. C. Isom to Rolly Rook Jordan and wife, dated July 12, 1941, recorded in Volume 259, Page 413, Lamar County Deed records, being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the East Boundary Line of U. S. Highway 271 and the South Boundary Line of the T &PRR right of way, at underpass; THENCE with the East Boundary Line of Highway 271, South 541/2 Deg. East a distance of 33 feet to a stake; THENCE South 371.4 Deg. East a distance of 103.7 feet to a stake; THENCE South 541/2 Deg. a distance of 352.2 feet to a stake; THENCE North a distance of 470 feet to a stake in the South Boundary Line of RR right of way; THENCE South 68 Deg. West a distance of 399 feet to the place of beginning, containing 2.104 acres of land, and being number 4025 Clarksville Street. Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby, directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and each and every day I s continuance of any violation of the above-enumerated sections shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective August 1, 1999.
