<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY
<br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
<br />THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C)
<br />ON LOT 2B, CITY BLOCK 235, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CALVIN L. DAY, SO
<br />AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-
<br />FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO.3 (SF-3); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF
<br />THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY
<br />NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
<br />ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
<br />DATE OF SEPTEMBER 1,1999.

<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance
<br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a
<br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 2B, CITY
<br />BLOCK 235, on property belonging to CALVIN L. DA Y, so as to include in such
<br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
<br />presently designated as a ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO.3 (SF-3), and that the
<br />boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby, established as
<br />follows:

<br />SITU A TED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of
<br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the John Harrington Survey No. 436,
<br />also being a part of Lot 2, City Block 235, also being a part of Tract Two
<br />conveyed to Donnie Collard by deed recorded in Volume 801, Page 180, Real
<br />Property Records, Lamar County, Texas, and being more particularly described
<br />as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at an iron pin set for corner in the East right-of-way of 19th
<br />Street N.W. (FM Highway 79), being South 5 Degrees, 38 Minutes East a distance
<br />of 76.67 feet, South 7 Degrees, 8 Minutes, 59 Seconds East a distance of 125.07
<br />feet, and South 8 Degrees, 1 Minute East a distance of 142.31 feet from the present
<br />Northwest corner of said Tract 2;
<br />THENCE North 88 Degrees, 35 Minutes, 6 Seconds East a distance of
<br />121.39 feet to an iron pin set for corner;
<br />THENCE South 11 Degrees, 48 Minutes, 35 Seconds East a distance of
<br />140.51 feet to a fence post found for corner;
<br />THENCE South 88 Degrees, 35 Minutes, 06 Seconds West a distance of
<br />130.75 feet to an iron pin set for corner in the East right-of-way of said street;
<br />THENCE North 8 Degrees, 1 Minute West with said East right-of-way a
<br />distance of 139.13 feet to the place of beginning, containing 0.400 acre of land,
<br />and being number 1220 19th Street N. W .
