1999-054-ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO 1710 AND CHANGING BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY ON LOT 2B CITY BLOCK 235 ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CALVIN L DAY ORDINANCE NO. 99-054 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 2B, CITY BLOCK 235, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CALVIN L. DAY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO.3 (SF-3); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 1,1999. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 2B, CITY BLOCK 235, on property belonging to CALVIN L. DA Y, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO.3 (SF-3), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: SITU A TED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the John Harrington Survey No. 436, also being a part of Lot 2, City Block 235, also being a part of Tract Two conveyed to Donnie Collard by deed recorded in Volume 801, Page 180, Real Property Records, Lamar County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin set for corner in the East right-of-way of 19th Street N.W. (FM Highway 79), being South 5 Degrees, 38 Minutes East a distance of 76.67 feet, South 7 Degrees, 8 Minutes, 59 Seconds East a distance of 125.07 feet, and South 8 Degrees, 1 Minute East a distance of 142.31 feet from the present Northwest corner of said Tract 2; THENCE North 88 Degrees, 35 Minutes, 6 Seconds East a distance of 121.39 feet to an iron pin set for corner; THENCE South 11 Degrees, 48 Minutes, 35 Seconds East a distance of 140.51 feet to a fence post found for corner; THENCE South 88 Degrees, 35 Minutes, 06 Seconds West a distance of 130.75 feet to an iron pin set for corner in the East right-of-way of said street; THENCE North 8 Degrees, 1 Minute West with said East right-of-way a distance of 139.13 feet to the place of beginning, containing 0.400 acre of land, and being number 1220 19th Street N. W . Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby, directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and each and every day I s continuance of any violation of the above-enumerated sections shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective September 1, 1999. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 5th day of August, 1999.
