1999-061-ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO 1710 AND CHANGING BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY ON LOT 5 CITY BLOCK 318 ON PROPRTY BELONGING TO MONTE MOORE ORDINANCE NO. 99-061 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 5, CITY BWCK 318, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO MONTE MOORE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER 1, 1999. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 318, on property belonging to MONTE MOORE, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey and a part of a 13.247 acre tract conveyed to Monte Moore by deed recorded in Volume 830, Page 1, Real Property Records, Lamar County, Texas, and all of a 4.00 acre tract conveyed to John W. Miles by deed recorded in Volume 291, Page 158, Real Property Records, Lamar County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point for corner, being the Northwest corner of said 13.247 acre tract; THENCE South 890 24' 25" East a distance of 98.39 feet to a point for corner; THENCE South 880 38' 45" East a distance of 446.93 feet to a point for corner; THENCE South 10 37' 50" West a distance of 119.77 feet to a point for corner; THENCE South 870 19' 10" East a distance of 60.39 feet to a point for corner; THENCE South 10 23' 30" West a distance of 671.09 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North 880 19' 15" East a distance of 120.0 feet to a point for corner; THENCE South 10 23' 30" West a distance of 50.0 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North 880 19' 15" West a distance of 120.0 feet to a point for corner; THENCE South 10 23' 30" West a distance of 325.0 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North 880 19' 15" West a distance of 256.19 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North 880 55' 00" West a distance of 247.74 feet to a point for corner; THENCE South 10 18' 25" West a distance of 46.35 feet to a point for corner in the North boundary line of Loop Highway 286; THENCE North 500 19' 47" West with said North boundary line a distance of 71.56 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North 40 31' 45" West a distance of 380.55 feet to a point for corner in the center of a creek; THENCE Northerly with said creek the following: North 50 08' 45" West a distance of 196.29 feet; North 50 11' 55" East a distance of 91.94 feet; North 30 35" 10" East a distance of 115.08 feet; North 150 03' 35" West a distance of 164.28 feet; North 00 56' 10" East a distance of 74.84 feet; North 200 13' 10" East a distance of 45.00 feet; North 40 07' 10" West a distance of 105.22 feet to the place of beginning and containing 14.442 acres of land, being number 3255 Loop 286 N.E. Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby, directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above-enumerated sections shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective October 1, 1999.
