<br />ORDINANCE NO. 99-027 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR <br />THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF <br />APPROXIMATELY 17.6 ACRES, MORE OR LESS; GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY <br />AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABIT ANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS <br />AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE <br />INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS; <br />AND PROVIDING ZONING FOR SAID TERRITORY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a petition of annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged by each and <br />every person or corporation having an interest in the following described territory, to-wit: <br /> <br />Tract 1 <br /> <br />Situated about 3 1/2 miles South 70 Deg. East of the City of Paris, County <br />of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach Survey #524, being a part <br />of a 24.693 acre tract of land conveyed A1cyone Corp. by deed recorded in Volume <br />694, Page 991, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and being more particularly <br />described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at an iron pin (t) for corner at the most Westerly Northwest <br />corner of said 24.693 acre tract; <br />THENCE South 1 Deg. 29 Min. West along the Westerly West Boundary <br />Line of said 24.693 acre tract and the East Boundary Line of a 7.436 acre tract of <br />land conveyed Breakfast Optimist Club of Paris, Texas, by deed recorded in <br />Volume 563, Page 853, a distance of 474.5 feet to an iron pin (t) for corner at the <br />Northwest corner of a 3.411 acre tract of land conveyed out of said 24.693 acre <br />tract; <br />THENCE South 89 Deg. 15 Min. East a distance of 599.3 feet to an iron <br />pin (t) for corner at the Northeast corner of said 3.441 acre tract; <br />THENCE North 1 Deg. 19 Min. East a distance of 499.3 feet to an iron pin <br />(s) for corner; <br />THENCE South 88 Deg. 23 Min. West at 190.2 feet passing an iron pin (t) <br />at the Southwest corner of a 5 acre tract ofland conveyed 271 Truck Stop, Inc. by <br />deed recorded in Volume 525, Page 274, of said Deed Records, said point being <br />an el corner of said 24.693 acre tract, and continuing along the South Boundary <br />Line of said 5 acre tract a distance of 598.6 feet to the place of beginning, <br />containing 6.690 acres of land. Being the same property conveyed the Breakfast <br />Optimist Club of Paris by deed recorded in Volume 127, Page 144, Real Property <br />Records, Lamar County, Texas. <br />
