ORDINANCE NO. 99-027 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 17.6 ACRES, MORE OR LESS; GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABIT ANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS; AND PROVIDING ZONING FOR SAID TERRITORY. WHEREAS, a petition of annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged by each and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described territory, to-wit: Tract 1 Situated about 3 1/2 miles South 70 Deg. East of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach Survey #524, being a part of a 24.693 acre tract of land conveyed A1cyone Corp. by deed recorded in Volume 694, Page 991, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin (t) for corner at the most Westerly Northwest corner of said 24.693 acre tract; THENCE South 1 Deg. 29 Min. West along the Westerly West Boundary Line of said 24.693 acre tract and the East Boundary Line of a 7.436 acre tract of land conveyed Breakfast Optimist Club of Paris, Texas, by deed recorded in Volume 563, Page 853, a distance of 474.5 feet to an iron pin (t) for corner at the Northwest corner of a 3.411 acre tract of land conveyed out of said 24.693 acre tract; THENCE South 89 Deg. 15 Min. East a distance of 599.3 feet to an iron pin (t) for corner at the Northeast corner of said 3.441 acre tract; THENCE North 1 Deg. 19 Min. East a distance of 499.3 feet to an iron pin (s) for corner; THENCE South 88 Deg. 23 Min. West at 190.2 feet passing an iron pin (t) at the Southwest corner of a 5 acre tract ofland conveyed 271 Truck Stop, Inc. by deed recorded in Volume 525, Page 274, of said Deed Records, said point being an el corner of said 24.693 acre tract, and continuing along the South Boundary Line of said 5 acre tract a distance of 598.6 feet to the place of beginning, containing 6.690 acres of land. Being the same property conveyed the Breakfast Optimist Club of Paris by deed recorded in Volume 127, Page 144, Real Property Records, Lamar County, Texas.
