ORDINANCE NO. 99-037 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT IS-A, CITY BWCK 501, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DONALD LEWIS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO EST ABLISHEDj PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN COm'LICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JUNE 1, 1999. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 18-A, CITY BLOCK 501, on property belonging to DONALD LEWIS, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the Wesley Askins Survey #7, and being Lot 18-A, City Block 501, also being a called 1 acre tract of land conveyed James Anderson by deed recorded in Volume 706, Page 134, of the Real Property Records of said County and State, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin (s) for corner at the Northeast corner of said 1 acre tract, said point being the Southeast corner of a called 2 acre tract of land conveyed V. R. Barksdale by deed recorded in Volume 379, Page 188, of the Deed Records of said County and State. THENCE along a fence along the North Boundary Line of said 1 acre tract and the South Boundary Line of said 2 acre tract as follows: South 85 Deg. 03 Min. 53 Sec. West a distance of 84.48 feet to a post (f); South 53 Deg. 00 Min. 24 Sec. West a distance of 90.70 feet to a post (f) for corner at the Northwest corner of said 1 acre tract and the Southwest corner of said 2 acre tract; THENCE along a fence along the West Boundary Line of said 1 acre tract and the East Boundary Line of a called 24.5 acre tract of land conveyed J. H. Darnell by deed recorded in Volume 667, Page 686, of said Deed Records, as follows: South 4 Deg. 01. Min. 40 Sec. West a distance of 64.31 feet to a post (f); South 13 Deg. 09 Min. 07 Sec. East a distance of 205.39 feet to an iron pin (s) for corner at the Southwest corner of said 1 acre tract and the Southeast corner of said 24.5 acre tract; THENCE along the Northerly Boundary Line of Farm Road 195 as follows: "l J
