<br />ORDINANCE NO. 99-037 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br />ON LOT IS-A, CITY BWCK 501, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DONALD LEWIS, <br />SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN <br />AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO EST ABLISHEDj PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT <br />TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES <br />IN COm'LICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JUNE <br />1, 1999. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 18-A, CITY <br />BLOCK 501, on property belonging to DONALD LEWIS, so as to include in such <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is <br />presently designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br /> <br />SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the Wesley Askins Survey #7, and <br />being Lot 18-A, City Block 501, also being a called 1 acre tract of land conveyed <br />James Anderson by deed recorded in Volume 706, Page 134, of the Real Property <br />Records of said County and State, and being more particularly described as <br />follows: <br />BEGINNING at an iron pin (s) for corner at the Northeast corner of said <br />1 acre tract, said point being the Southeast corner of a called 2 acre tract of land <br />conveyed V. R. Barksdale by deed recorded in Volume 379, Page 188, of the Deed <br />Records of said County and State. <br />THENCE along a fence along the North Boundary Line of said 1 acre tract <br />and the South Boundary Line of said 2 acre tract as follows: South 85 Deg. 03 <br />Min. 53 Sec. West a distance of 84.48 feet to a post (f); South 53 Deg. 00 Min. <br />24 Sec. West a distance of 90.70 feet to a post (f) for corner at the Northwest <br />corner of said 1 acre tract and the Southwest corner of said 2 acre tract; <br />THENCE along a fence along the West Boundary Line of said 1 acre tract <br />and the East Boundary Line of a called 24.5 acre tract of land conveyed J. H. <br />Darnell by deed recorded in Volume 667, Page 686, of said Deed Records, as <br />follows: South 4 Deg. 01. Min. 40 Sec. West a distance of 64.31 feet to a post <br />(f); South 13 Deg. 09 Min. 07 Sec.
