SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
MONDAY NOVENBER 4.2013
4:00 O'CLOCK P.M.
1. The meeting of the Historic Preservation Commission was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Chair Ben
Vaughan.
A. The following commissioners were present: Chair Ben Vaughan, Nancy Anderson, David
Stewart, Lauri Redus,
B. Douglas Cox and Beatrice Ardila we absent; and 1 position is vacant
C. Also present: Joey Sleeper, Historic Preservation Officer; Alex Pickering, citizen; Gary
Brown, property owner.
2. Review sign ordinance for Historic Districts.
Chair Vaughan introduced the item. The Commission discussed proposed provisions for historic
signs, allowed and prohibited signs, A frame or sandwich board signs, blade or armature signs, and
awning and canopy signs. No action was taken.
3. Adjournment
With no other matters to discuss, a motion to adjourn was made by Chair Vaughan and seconded
by Commissioner Anderson. The motion carried 4 -0.
Meeting adjourned at 5:20 p.m.
