1. The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by Ben Vaughn,
Vice - Chairman at 12:00 p.m.
A. The following members were present:

C. Also present: Cheri Bedford, Main Street Manager and Historic Preservation
Officer, Matt Frierson, City Council Liaison
2. Approval of minutes from January 28, 2012. Motion was made by Laurie Redus
seconded by Britin Bostick. Motion carried 5 -0
3. Discussion of and possible action regarding the following structures considered by code
inspectors to be in violation of Article III of Chapter 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and
Structures," to determine whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and
designated on the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic
Landmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris.

Motion was made by Douglas Cox, seconded by Nancy Anderson to send all structures to
the Building and Standards Commission since they cannot be rehabilitated nor do they
have significant historical value with the exception of item 3 -L (339 W. Kaufinan)
which will be brought back at the next meeting for consideration. Motion carried 5 -0.
4. A motion was made to table discussion on the use of stucco in the historic district until
the 2/25/2013 by Britin Bostick, seconded by Nancy Anderson, Motion Carried 5 -0
5. Future agenda items: Discussion on the partnership with preservation organizations for a
