SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
MONDAY, APRIL 1, 2013
12:00 O'CLOCK P.M.
1, The Historic Preservation Commission special meeting was called to order by Paul
Denney, Chairman 12:00 p.m.
A. The following members were present: Paul Denney, Britin Bostick, Ben Vaughan,
and David Stewart, Nancy Anderson, Laurie Redus.
B. The following members were absent: Douglas Cox
C. Also present: Cheri Bedford, Main Street Manager, Hannah Sisson
2. Consideration of and action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness:
A. 17 N.E. 2nd St. Mommy and Me- Hannah Sisson
Hannah Sisson presented her signage request in an updated COA to the commission.
Ben Vaughan asked about the blade sign on the former application. Hannah stated
that she decided not to do a blade sign at this time and will resubmit a new COA if
they determine they would actually want one. Paul Denney asked if the signage meets
the current ordinance, and it was determined that it did.
Motion made by Ben Vaughan, and seconded by Nancy Anderson to approve the COA as
presented. Motion Carried 6 -0
No future agenda items at this time.
4. Motion to adjourn by Ben Vaughan and seconded by Nancy Anderson. Motion carried
5 -0
Adjourn at 12: 05 p.m.
