Meeting Minutes
August 21, 2013
Opening:
The regular meeting of the Paris Public Library Advisory Board was called to order at 4:15 p.m.
Present:
Board members present were Connie Dodd, Judith Kimbrough, Fran Neeley, Linda Vandiver, and
Alice Woodard. Priscilla McAnally, library director was also present. Absent were Pat Books and
Ann Norment.
Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved as presented.
I. New Business: The expendable library trust fund has a balance of $85,139 and the un-
expendable fund has $78, 060.
The Paris High School yearbooks will be shipped to Oklahoma Correctional Industries in
Lexington, OK for conversion to DVD format. There is no cost to the library for this
project.
II. Old Business: No old business was presented for discussion
III. Presentations
a. Budget Report : July expenditures showed nothing unusual
b. Statistical Report shows: July circulation was down 7.64% and visits were down
.02%
IV. Friends of the Library: No report
V. Director's Remarks: The director informed the board about a patron's complaint
concerning a library staff member and that the situation had been resolved.
Adjournment: Meeting was adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
