Meeting Minutes
December 18, 2013
Opening:
The regular meeting of the Paris Public Library Advisory Board was called to order at 3:30 p.m.
Present:
Connie Dodd, Fran Neeley, Ann Norment, Linda Vandiver, Alice Woodard and director Priscilla
McAnally were present. Absent were Pat Books and Judith Kimbrough.
I. Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved as presented.
II. New Business:
No new business
III. Old Business
Agreement has been faxed to Overdrive
Installation of additional electrical outlets delayed until December 30 or after
IV. Presentations
A. Budget Report:
No unusual expenditures
B. Statistical Report:
Circulation and visits were down.
V. Friends of the Library
No report
VI. Director's Remarks:
Freegal Movies, a streaming video service, has been added to the library's e-
Resources. Patrons will use their library card to access the movies and tv shows
available. Each library card holder may "check out" 3 videos per week which stay on
their device for 48 hours.
The next meeting will be January 22.
