Chairman Bill Kennedy called the meeting to order. Other members in attendance were ti iala ivlanory, ,Ueboraii Batley, JacKie lSobrooK, vebbie Anaerson, and Audrey LaKeS. 1IiSo in attendance were Priscilla ivfcAnally, Library Director; and Amanda Green, Friends of the Library President. T here being no corrections or additions to the minutes of the September meeting, they were approved as presented. A retirement party hosted by the Friends of the 1. ibrary is scheduled for ivionday, uctober 2J, for Ciuiaren`s Librarian Emily Kirkman. The Friends priority this month is to push attendance at the October 28 luncheon. The budget and statistical reports were presented both ter the month of September and the entire 2uuy -2uu6 fiscal year. All but $5700 of the 2005 -2006 budget was expended. The 2005 -2006 circulation figure showed a 6 o decrease ti'om the 21 it 4 -2()i �2- year, but that siloui- improve this year With the out of city tee no longer in effect. The September report reflected an increase of 4% in circulation over September of last year. There were X ctimaren's prourms'n �eptemtber with 1 t in attendance. Work continues on weeding out videos with many extremely overdue ones being taken off the records.
