Meeting Minutes
November 19, 2008
The Paris Public Library Advisory Board met at 4 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2008, in the Library Gallery.
Linda Vandiver, Deborah Hatley, Debbie Anderson, and Hilda Mallory attended along with Library Director
Priscilla McAnally.
In the absence of the chairman, Linda Vandiver presided. Minutes from the previous meeting were approved as
printed.
The Holiday in Paris Art Walk is scheduled for December 5 -6 and 12 -13 from 5 -9 p.m. each of those days. Host
volunteers are needed for the second weekend.
The results of a demographic survey funded by NETLS have been received. The Director attended an adult
programming showcase where she noted possibilities for our future programs, including urban myths and a
program on Sojourner Truth.
The statistical report reflected increases in both visits and circulation over last year.
There was no Friends of the Library report.
There being no further business on the agenda, the meeting was adjourned.
